Laugh

I wanted to do a layout a bit differently than usual. That's using the stencils and spray mists, and making chevrons. This took me a little longer to complete it because of that plus the sketch I chose to follow was once again very simple. Simplicity is always indeed a challenge for me! I'm happy with the outcome. My DH is very pleased with it too! <3

Thanks Brenshevia for sharing sketch with the Stick it Down under "Single Page Sketches" tab.

Thank you for visiting here.

Life is Sweet

It looks like I am in a scrapbook-a-thon for past few days! It is NOT usual for me to actually create 3 layouts within such a short timeframe! I'm STOKED! Scrapbooking rocks!

Here's another layout I did last night! This lady is a good friend of mine, and she's special. It was her birthday a couple of years ago, and I thought the picture was too pretty to be put away in the photo albums awaiting to be forgotten. So here you go!

Thanks ScrapMuch? for sharing your sketch!

Off I go creating a 4th layout today! This one will take a bit longer... stay tuned :)

Summer Time (2012)

Here's a completed layout I've been meaning to do a long time ago. My children are already older and taller now... it was fun doing this because it made me remember the good times when they were a bit younger. They appreciated simple things in life at that time such as just laughing, splashing and swimming in the pool. Time is so precious, and they come and go very quickly! I am determined to make sure we get together and swim as a family more often this upcoming summer!

I followed a sketch designed by Susan Stringfellow when I made this layout.

I used the TPC Studio papers, and they're so colourful I just love them! I used the Cricut cartridge "H20" to cut the goggles, beach ball and sun. They're neat and easy to make!

Thanks for stopping by.

Peace

As I'm trying to get back in sync with my scrapbooking hobby lately, I visited a friend's blog and saw this sketch. I instantly knew I have one perfect picture to go with this sketch because of its amazingly simplicity! So I did it right away! That felt so good! Here you go!

Thank you Sharlene and Laura for the inspiration!

Roller Girl

I created this layout, inspired by "Sketches with a Twist #5 by Janice Daquila-Pardo" over the holidays last December. It was fun because it gave me some to admirably wonder about my mom when she was very young. Look at those roller skates! I just love old-fashioned stuff... they're fascinating!

Me and My Dad

I bought a 2-page layout kit from the ScrapFest in Kitchener a couple of years ago, and never got around to doing it until last week! I finally created just 1-page layout. I'm not always good at 2-page layouts, and I didn't have a good second or third photo to go with the first photo anyway... so this will do. The layout is designed by Karen Lancaster, Karen's Creations Scrapbooking.
